Day 1: Session 2 [clear filter]
Tuesday, July 31

12:45pm

"Cuz we are living in a visual world..." Rebirth of the Instructional One Pager
"A quick look around (just pop your head up from your screen) will tell you that most people are on a screen, or about to get on a screen. A quick search of the word ""visual"" in the Common Core yields results in all grade levels and subjects. How can you harness the power of visuals AND get your point across?

The instructional one-pager, formerly a list of instructions, must undergo a facelift to become more engaging in our visual world. Could you boil those instructions down to an Instagram post? (And I mean the square one, not the full-sized one.) In this session, you'll learn how to create a graphic one-pager that will not only be useable but attractive as well. We'll cover basic graphic design rules as well as more fun stuff such as GIFs. Come channel your inner Andy Warhol (just less weird)!"
